Volleyball Recap: Christian Academy Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Corydon Central Panthers 3-0 on Thursday. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Carly Stevens, who had 11 digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last five matchups. Addison Jackson also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corydon Central only served three.

Christian Academy pushed their record up to 20-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Corydon Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Clarksville on the 6th. As for Corydon Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Springs Valley on the 4th.
