Even though The Weatherford Christian Lions scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the Booker Kiowas still came out on top. Booker walked away with a 70-58 win over Weatherford Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Booker.
Tristin Nelson was a one-man wrecking crew for Booker as he rushed for 260 yards while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Nelson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. Chase Nelson was another key contributor, throwing for 121 yards and a touchdown.
Booker's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Weatherford Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Booker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Weatherford Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
