Baseball Recap: Kingston Has No Trouble Against Madill

Kingston barely beat Madill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Redskins were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. Considering the Redskins have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Kingston and bumps their season record up to 10-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Madill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Kingston will head out to face off against Marietta at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tishomingo at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
