The Prairiland Patriots lost against the Rains Wildcats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Prairiland was outmatched by Rains on the road and fell 94-19. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prairiland has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rains to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasey Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten assists. Those ten assists set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Presley Kilgore, who scored 22 points along with three steals.
Prairiland has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Rains, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.
Prairiland will be home for the holidays to greet Commerce at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Commerce will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Rains, they will head out on the road to face off against Lone Oak at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lone Oak is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
