Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Desert Hills). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Cedar Reds 68-29. Given the Thunder's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Reds are ranked 107th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Desert Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Rasmussen, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chaz Holbrook, who posted 13 points.

The victory (which was Desert Hills' third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Cedar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Desert Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-48 win against Hurricane on the 20th. As for Cedar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-46 defeat against Crimson Cliffs on the 20th.
