Franklin scooted by Natick with a score of 42 - 26. Despite Franklin's win, the team was passed up by other teams in the power rankings and gave up two spots in the rankings.
This Week's Big Showdown
On paper, the match between St. John's Prep (1st in the power rankings) and Central Catholic (5th) looked as though it might be one of the more compelling ones, but things did not play out that way on the field. St. John's Prep took its contest against Central Catholic by a conclusive 21 - 0 score. St. John's Prep was heavily favored coming into this contest, and the results showcase why.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Pinkerton (19th in the power rankings) and Bedford (11th). The teams have their eyes fixed on the championship after last-week playoff conquests. Both Pinkerton and Bedford are bound to feel confident after their prior matchups, but one team's ego will take a hit. Check back on MaxPreps to find out which one when the teams meet up this week.
