Geren Kenney, Perry's leading rebounder, solidified his role on Thursday. Kenney was dynamite, almost dropping a triple-double on 24 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more assists the last three times he's played.

Kenney and Perry will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nevada at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. The Bluejays had to take a loss when they last met the Cubs, but Kenney had little to do with the loss: he went 7 of 17 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.
