Fairbury and Milford/Dorchester take on one another this Thursday at 7:00 PM on Fairbury's home turf. Fairbury has flexed its offensive muscles in its last eight matchups, so Milford/Dorchester has a real workout ahead of it.
Fairbury can now show off seven landslide victories after its game last week. It put the hurt on Raymond Central last week with a conclusive 75 - 6 victory. Senior Adam Wasserman deserves a lot of the credit as he threw for 163 yards and five touchdowns. This sound performance was nothing new for Wasserman, who has been a rock for Fairbury in the past eight games. Sophomore Seth Firmanik banked an additional two TDs for the team. As for Milford/Dorchester, it received a tough blow as it fell 34 - 14 to Lincoln Christian.
Milford/Dorchester's defeat dropped it to 4-4 while Fairbury's win brought it to 8-0. Milford/Dorchester's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Fairbury defense that got four sacks against Raymond Central last week. We'll see if it is up to the challenge.
