Menomonie barely beat Onalaska the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs blew past the Hilltoppers 13-3 on Saturday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Menomonie, bringing their record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Onalaska, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-5.

Menomonie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 victory against Bloomer on the 10th. As for Onalaska, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-1 win against Baldwin-Woodville on the 10th.
