Colonial - Liberty recap Oct. 3, 2012
Haddonfield's Adam Augugliaro recorded the longest rushing play in Colonial - Liberty this season in his game against Collingswood last week. Augugliaro's team defeated the Panthers as he sprinted for 70 yards on the play and finished with 146 in all.
West Deptford extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Sterling, 35-20. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Mike McLaughlin put up the best numbers through the air as Haddonfield bested Collingswood. He finished with a total of seven completions for 64 yards and two touchdowns. McLaughlin's favorite target this week was Julian DiNoia, who caught two passes for 15 yards.
Shai Mumford was the best wideout in the league this week as West Deptford topped the Silver Knights. Mumford tallied seven receptions for 92 yards. Connor Smith helped West Deptford's passing attack out by catching one ball for 34 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Dante Pinckney of Haddon Heights is the league leader in passing yards this season with 444. He has also thrown nine touchdowns. On the ground, Clyde Folsom's team's Gerald Towns-Owens has rushed for 589 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Mumford. The West Deptford star has 10 catches for 171 yards.
Frank DeLano's team took down Jack McConnell's team 36-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. McLaughlin ran for 47 yards in the win.
