The Quitman Bulldogs's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past Winona 58-21 at home. Considering Quitman has won three matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quitman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Klayton Meadows, who rushed for 158 yards while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Kameron Crockett was another key contributor, throwing for 33 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Winona still got an impressive performance from Lurbryson Ross, who rushed for 185 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry.
Quitman's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Winona, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8.
Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Winona also has no future games currently scheduled.
