West Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Alexandria, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Monroe will challenge West Ouachita at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alexandria, they will head out on the road to take on Avoyelles Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
