The Winters Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Williams as Winters made off with a 71-50 win. That 71-50 margin sets a new team best for Winters this season.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyden Bowen, who scored 19 points. The game was Bowen's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Martinez , who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Winters' win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Williams, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-7 record last season and are now at 3-9.
Winters and Woodland will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Williams, they will square off against Colusa at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Colusa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
