You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Lower Richland on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Crestwood Knights out of the water with a 62-29 final score. The Diamond Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Lower Richland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taelor Hiller-Johnson led the charge by going 8 of 10 on her way to 18 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Foster, who went 8 for 11 en route to 17 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Lower Richland was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestwood only racked up five assists.

Despite the loss, Crestwood still got an impressive performance from Saniya Williams, who posted 14 points.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Lower Richland, bringing their record for this year to 18-1. As for Crestwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Lower Richland is facing Hartsville at the right time seeing as Hartsville is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Crestwood, they will be playing at home against Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.
