In what's become a running theme this season, the Stern Titans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They breezed by Animo De La Hoya at home to the tune of 74-23. That 51 points margin sets a new team best for Stern this season.
Leading Stern to victory were David Garcia and Mark Bautista. Garcia scored 21 points along with nine rebounds, while Bautista scored 30 points along with five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bautista has scored at least a third of Stern's points. Another player making a difference was Vince Villanueva, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Stern's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.5 points. As for Animo De La Hoya, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
