Academy for Classical Education has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Rutland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.

The timing is sure in Southwest's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Academy for Classical Education has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
