They blew past Cedar Creek 83-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Jameel Purnell was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 14 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for seven straight games. Kyion Gray was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with four steals.
Bridgeton's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Cedar Creek, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.
Bridgeton will head out on the road to take on Mainland Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Mainland Regional's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
