Prince of Peace has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Shelton Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Prince of Peace earned a 48-41 victory over the Mustangs.
Shelton can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 50-17 victory over McKinney Christian Academy. The win was just what Shelton needed coming off of a 69-38 loss in their prior matchup.
Prince of Peace's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Shelton, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9.
Prince of Peace took their victory against the Chargers in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 45-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for Prince of Peace since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
