Hutchinson entered their tilt with Maize South on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They snuck past the Maize South Mavericks with a 57-53 victory. This was payback for the Salthawks, who suffered a 60-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hutchinson's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Maize South, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Hutchinson will venture away from home to challenge South on Friday. As for Maize South, they will square off against Bishop Carroll at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
