Warren County never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against White County on Monday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 15-1 victory. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Ceilee Gudat made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double.
In other batting news, Warren County let Addison Smith and Brooke Wilson run wild. Smith went 2-for-5 with one home run and four RBI, while Wilson scored three runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave Wilson a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Ky Damon, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
