The Loveland Red Wolves will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Northglenn Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Loveland posted their closest win since December 14, 2023 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Mountain View 62-59.
Meanwhile, Northglenn's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Mountain Range. Northglenn has struggled against Mountain Range recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Loveland's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12. As for Northglenn, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Everything went Loveland's way against Northglenn in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as Loveland made off with a 66-41 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loveland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
