They fell to the Patriots 78-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game two weeks ago (60), Seven Rivers Christian still had to take the loss.
Despite the defeat, Seven Rivers Christian saw an underclassman step up: Jurisah Bailey dropped a triple-double on 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 15 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bailey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Annalise De beer, who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals.
Seven Rivers Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Carrollwood Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Seven Rivers Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Hernando Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hernando Christian Academy has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests. Carrollwood Day's road trip will continue as they head out to face North Tampa Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th.
