It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Shore had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Ridge Point Panthers 31-7. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won eight matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

North Shore had a senior duo take command as Hezekiah Johnson rushed for 110 yards and a pair of scores and Kaleb Maryland threw for 189 yards and one touchdown.

North Shore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridge Point only rushed for 32.

The victory made it two in a row for North Shore and bumps their season record up to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 21 points in those games. As for Ridge Point, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

North Shore has already played their next contest, a 54-27 victory against Cypress Falls on the 28th. Ridge Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
