After five games on the road, Chattanooga Christian is heading back home. They will take on the McCallie Blue Tornado at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Chattanooga Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 76-46 loss at the hands of Webb. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chattanooga Christian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, McCallie unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 64-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Baylor. McCallie has not had much luck with Baylor recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Parker Robison put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 28 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Gallman, who scored 13 points.
McCallie struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Chattanooga Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for McCallie, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-2.
Chattanooga Christian came up short against McCallie in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 71-61. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McCallie's Kenneth Chime, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 21 rebounds.
