Caden Mason put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2025 on Friday. He struck out five batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

Coming up, Mason and Franklin will look to defend their home field on Monday against Tuscola at 7:00 p.m. Mason had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in March of 2025 11-1.
