Ouachita made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Gurdon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Ouachita was the clear victor by a 16-4 margin over Gurdon on Monday. Considering the Warriors have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win snapped Ouachita's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-8 record. As for Gurdon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ouachita will host Murfreesboro at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gurdon, they will be playing at home against Harmony Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gurdon will need to watch out since Harmony Grove has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
