The Hart County Raiders were the 58-57 winner over the Caverna Colonels when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Hart County took a hard 54-38 fall against Caverna on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hart County has scored all season.
Caverna found their leader in underclassman Jaylin Craine, who scored 22 points along with six assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Desmond Rowlett, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Hart County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Caverna, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hart County will take on Green County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Green County is ranked 92nd, while Hart County is ranked 100th). As for Caverna, they will be playing at home against Russell County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Caverna focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday.
