The South Callaway Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Linn Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Linn took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on South Callaway, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, South Callaway earned a 55-46 victory over the Hornets. Given South Callaway's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Hornets are ranked 423rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Linn was beaten by the Eagles 68-35 on Tuesday. Linn was down 51-28 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
The losing side was boosted by Noah Hall, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
South Callaway's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points per game. As for Linn, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
South Callaway was able to grind out a solid win over the Wildcats in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 71-58. Does South Callaway have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
