On Friday Hull will take on Carver/Sacred Heart at 7:00 PM. Hull are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Things haven't been easy for Hull, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to five. They took a hard 22-41 fall against Mashpee. Hull were down by 8-41 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Carver/Sacred Heart and Martha's Vineyard Regional last Friday, but Carver/Sacred Heart stepped up in the second half. Carver/Sacred Heart took their matchup against Martha's Vineyard Regional 7-0. The success represented a nice turnaround for Carver/Sacred Heart, who in their last game suffered a tough 14-35 defeat.
Carver/Sacred Heart's win lifted them to 2-3 while Hull's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll find out if Carver/Sacred Heart can add another positive mark to their record or if Hull can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Carver/Sacred Heart's step.
