The Fallbrook Warriors will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Mar Vista Mariners at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th. Fallbrook has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 320 points over their last five contests.
Last Saturday, Fallbrook humbled the Red Devils with a 56-25 victory.
Malaki Brotherton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Samuel Carmona, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, Mar Vista's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-43 loss at the hands of Eastlake. While losing is never fun, Mar Vista can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 730th, while the Titans are ranked 324th).
Fallbrook has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Mar Vista, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Fallbrook came up short against the Mariners when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 64-58. Thankfully for Fallbrook, Josiah Scott (who scored 20 points along with seven steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
