Rainier put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Corbett 48-0. With Rainier ahead 41-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, after a big victory against Blanchet Catholic two weeks ago, Clatskanie came back down to earth. Clatskanie didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 14-20 to Vale. Clatskanie's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Rainier's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Clatskanie's loss dropped them down to 3-1. We'll find out if Rainier can add another positive mark to their record or if Clatskanie can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Rainier's step.
