The Kennedale Wildcats entered their tilt with the Western Hills Cougars with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Kennedale took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over Western Hills. The result was nothing new for Kennedale, who have now won five matchups by 32 points or more so far this season.
Laurrence Watkins was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Daunte Scott got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Kennedale's victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.3 points per game. As for Western Hills, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Kennedale will head out on the road to face off against Dunbar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Western Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 11:00 a.m. on November 4th. Diamond Hill-Jarvis comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
