Plainfield owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 28-0 win over the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders. That looming 28-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.

Plainfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Na'Dirah Evans, who threw for 243 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.6% of her passes. Jahnae Lembrick helped Evans out on the ground, picking up 100 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Plainfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.6 points on average over those games. As for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
