 Ryan Maslyk tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Brunswick's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Nick Wojtala, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  RBI.
Brunswick's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-6. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Medina, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brunswick will host Avon  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Medina, they will be playing at home against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin  at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
