After soaring to 58 points the game before, the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines were a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They were outmatched by Southern on the road and fell 59-13. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Western Tech & Environmental Science has scored all season.
Ava Wooster continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Southern, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Wooster has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Shaw, who scored six points along with five assists and four steals.
Western Tech & Environmental Science's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Southern, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Tech & Environmental Science will take on Patapsco at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Western Tech & Environmental Science is facing Patapsco at the right time seeing as Patapsco is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Southern, they will play host again and welcome Arundel, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Southern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Monday.
