Make it four blowout wins for the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Cristo Rey St. Viator 85-13 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Mater Academy East Las Vegas has managed all season.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tru Young led the charge by scoring eight points along with ten rebounds. Young hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendon Jones, who scored seven points along with 15 rebounds.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
