Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Augusta, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against McPherson, falling 6-63. Augusta were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-55.
Abilene's victory lifted them to 3-3 while Augusta's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll find out if Abilene can add another positive mark to their record or if Augusta can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Abilene's step.
