Frankton will face off against Delta at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Delta took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Frankton, who comes in off a win.
Frankton's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Blackford. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Paige Parker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
In other pitching news, Grace Kessinger looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season.
Parker wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Malorie Clark, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Lapel, falling 15-8.
Everly Carter made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Destinee Drown, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Frankton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-7.
Frankton took their win against Delta in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 26-3 score. Does Frankton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Delta turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
