Decorah-North Winneshiek extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 5 this week by beating Crestwood, 35-15. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
West Delaware took down Vinton-Shellsburg 34-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Crestwood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cadets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kolter Freidhof has thrown for 671 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Spencer Bohr has 19 catches for 247 yards. Kody Sindelar leads the league in rushing with 218 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Cadets take on the Hawks. As it stands, Crestwood is in fourth, while West Delaware is in second.
Chris Lentz's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,224 from 8,723. The improvement came about via a 35-15 victory over the Cadets last week.
