The Provo Bulldogs will square off against the Timpanogos Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Provo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Provo made easy work of Uintah and carried off a 7-1 win. Fred Mendez Ortega was a massive factor in the win as he booted in five goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Timpanogos put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Payson by a score of 3-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Timpanogos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Payson are ranked 61st).

Provo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four games. As for Timpanogos, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Provo came out on top in a nail-biter against Timpanogos in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
