Van-Far/Community are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Clopton/Elsberry on Friday at 7:00 PM. Van-Far/Community are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Van-Far/Community came up short against Wright City last Friday, falling 14-26.
Meanwhile, if Clopton/Elsberry were riding high off their 38-6 takedown of Missouri Military Academy two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Clopton/Elsberry were completely outmatched, falling 0-47 to North Callaway. Clopton/Elsberry were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-34.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
