The DeMotte Christian Knights won against the North White Vikings last Friday with 37 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. DeMotte Christian managed a 37-33 win over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back wins for DeMotte Christian.
Claire Bakker continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Sophie Bakker was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Despite the loss, North White had strong showings from Autumn Reif, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds, and Sable George, who scored 12 points. That was a full 36.4% of North White's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
North White struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as DeMotte Christian pulled down 16 offensive rebounds.
DeMotte Christian now has a winning record of 12-11. As for North White, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
DeMotte Christian will face off against the Mustangs & Fillies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North White, they will square off against the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tri-County is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
