Pennsauken is on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Shawnee is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Indians will host the Renegades at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Shawnee took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pennsauken, who comes in off a win.
Pennsauken's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Eastside 27-0. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Randall Blount, who rushed for 133 yards and a pair of scores. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.
Another reason for the win was Pennsauken's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. Alex Parker was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three himself. Joshua Williams was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Shawnee was not quite Cherokee's equal in the second half on Friday. They and the Chiefs were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 22-21 loss. The Renegades haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Pennsauken will have to contain Tyler Nickles as he made an impact in Shawnee's last game. He rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 34 receiving yards.
Pennsauken's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Shawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Pennsauken has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 169.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Shawnee struggles in that department as they've been averaging 179.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Pennsauken came up short against Shawnee in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 35-29. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Renegades' Cole Anderson, who rushed for 124 yards and four TDs.
