Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Northwest Raiders walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 42-20 margin over Franklin Parish. The result was nothing new for Northwest, who have now won seven matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Franklin Parish's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kenyon Martin, who rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns.
Northwest is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Franklin Parish, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Northwest will be playing at home against Wossman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wossman is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Franklin Parish does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
