The Cary Imps scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with an 80-69 victory over Green Hope. The win was a breath of fresh air for Cary as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Stone Holcombe was his usual excellent self, scoring 34 points. Brandon Nixon was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.
Cary's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Green Hope, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Middle Creek the next time they take the court. Cary will head out to face Middle Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Green Hope will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
