The Wayne Blue Devils were the 36-35 winner over the Wisner-Pilger Gators when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Wayne fell 41-31 to Wisner-Pilger on Friday.
Reagan Mcguire was Wayne's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Haley Kramer held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wisner-Pilger, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Wayne won't have much time to rest: their next game is against O'Neill at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th. O'Neill is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Wisner-Pilger and Stanton will face off on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Stanton and Wisner-Pilger are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
