The Piqua Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Troy. Piqua has struggled against Troy recently, as their match on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Troy to victory were Simone Adekoya and Kiyah Baker. Adekoya scored eight points, while Baker dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Piqua has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Troy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.
