Gauge Elder posted a new career-low in walks on Monday. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
