Rafe Newton Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Ririe's Rafe Newton, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Newton rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.
Ririe's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Newton and Ririe will host Salmon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

This season, Lewis has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns.

North Fremont was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Andrew Martin did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Martin as he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Martin and North Fremont will host West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Martin up against the Panthers' star running back Justus Burtenshaw. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
