Basketball Recap: First Baptist's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

First Baptist won the last time they faced Liberty Christian, and Juan Joel Hernandez did his part to make sure it happened again. First Baptist came out on top against the Liberty Christian Minutemen by a score of 68-61 on Tuesday thanks in part to Hernandez, who went 11 of 24 en route to 34 points and seven rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

First Baptist moved to 8-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Liberty Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bethel Baptist the next time they take the court. First Baptist will host Bethel Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Liberty Christian will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
